Altra Trail Gaiters
Don’t let trail debris ruin your hike or run. Altra Trail Gaiters are lightweight, breathable, and designed to block out sand, dirt, rocks, and snow. Made from abrasion-resistant stretch fabric with 18% spandex, these gaiters attach strap-free to Altra trail shoes using the GaiterTrap™ system. An extra hook-and-loop strip is included to adapt to other trail shoe brands.
The strapless design means you can change socks or shoes without removing the gaiters, ideal for long runs and multi-day hikes. They’re built to perform on rugged terrain and through tough conditions.
Why I Recommend Them
I don’t hike without them. On a trip to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in my Altra Lone Peak 9s, these gaiters kept out every grain of sand. Zero debris. Total game-changer.
