The two-piece breakdown design features a secure pop-button joint that lets you split the aluminum shaft into two equal sections. It slides easily into a car trunk, gear bag, or kayak storage hatch, simplifying logistics to and from the water.
Built with a three-position button lock, the shaft allows you to feather the blades at different angles. This adjustment helps you tune your strokes to compensate for crosswinds or accommodate your preferred left- or right-hand control style.
The blade assemblies come equipped with fitted rubber drip rings near the joints to minimize the amount of water trickling down the shaft toward your hands. I’ve used my Overmont Kayak Paddle in the orange finish for over three years now, and it still hasn’t shown a single speck of rust.
