I’ve personally owned these for years and love how comfy and durable they are. I wear them on road trips, day hikes, and even backpacking trips. I usually leave the lower zippers open for extra airflow, unless it’s super windy! When it’s chilly, I can easily layer a merino base layer underneath for extra warmth.
Just a heads-up: when you zip them off into shorts… let’s say they’re practical, not pretty. 😅 But they’re great for river crossings or emergency use, and hey, function over fashion, right?
