Review of My New Favorite Yoga Mat from Society6

Every January, I take part in Yoga with Adriene’s yoga challenge. And to start the new year fresh, this year I purchased a new yoga mat from Society6. I chose this Ocean Waves Yoga Mat to bring my love of the ocean to my morning routine. This yoga mat quickly became my new favorite mat, and here is my review. I keep updating this review as time goes by and you’ll find my July 2023 update below including comparative photos of the yoga mat back in 2021 and now.

Cons
- Wear Over Time: After almost two years of daily use, there are some small areas where the print is starting to wear off. While this is considered normal wear and tear, it’s worth noting for those expecting a pristine appearance over an extended period.
Yoga Mat from Society6 – comparing November 2021 vs July 2023
Edit July 2023: I’ve now used it daily for almost two years, since purchasing it in November 2021, and this Society6 yoga mat still looks great, despite using it daily (indoors)! See the updated photo below and a comparison to the original photo I posted when I first bought the mat.
In addition, it’s worth noting that I use wet cleaning wipes on it regularly to clean it up! The print is still holding well. There are now some small areas where the print is starting to wear off (around the bottom you can see two areas are getting lighter, where my feet go!), but after almost 2 years of daily use, I think that’s normal.
I continue to believe in the quality of yoga mats from Society6 and recommend them to my readers.
