Final Thoughts on the Summer & Labor Day Sale 2026

There are some genuinely useful discounts here, from hiking shoes and technical clothing to tents, sleeping pads, camp furniture, packs, and outdoor accessories.

For me, the REI sale has some of the standout camping deals, especially the discounts on Exped, Big Agnes, NEMO, Therm-a-Rest, MSR, and REI Co-op gear. I’d also take a closer look at the Patagonia and Osprey sales if you need clothing or a new hiking pack.

As always, I wouldn’t recommend buying something simply because it’s on sale. But if you already have gear on your wish list, this is a good opportunity to save on products you’ll actually use on your next adventure.
