XeroCloud Rain Pants

XeroCloud Rain Pants are light, packable, and stretchy enough to keep you moving comfortably when a downpour hits the trail. They cut out the stiff, crinkly feel of traditional rain gear, making them easy to throw on over your hiking clothes without slowing you down.

XeroCloud Rain Pants

These XeroCloud Rain Pants ensure you stay completely dry without overheating on steep climbs. Instead of a stiff shell, they use a soft, 3-layer design that feels comfortable against your skin or over shorts, blocking wind and heavy rain while letting sweat escape.

Built with a 3-layer HydroWall laminate, these pants handle steady storms and cold wind without a problem. The fabric uses a PFAS-free water repellent finish that makes rain bead up and roll off immediately, which stops the material from getting heavy and soaked through after hours in the elements.

You can hike normally in this shell because the material actually stretches with your stride. A gusseted crotch and articulated knees mean you won’t feel restricted when stepping over logs or scrambling up rocks, and the elastic waist drawcord is easy to adjust on the fly.

Weighing just 9.2 ounces, this layer doesn’t take up much space and packs down entirely into its own zippered pocket. The deep ankle zippers mean you don’t have to sit down and yank your muddy boots off just to put them on, and the cordlocks at the hem keep trail debris out.

Made with the planet in mind, these pants feature recycled nylon and polyester that meet strict bluesign® environmental criteria. They are built in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, meaning the folks making your gear are treated and compensated fairly.

XeroCloud Rain Pants Review

I love these pants. I bought them for my Washington road trip as I expected daily wet weather, and the weather certainly didn’t disappoint. This was easily my favorite item on the entire trip. I love that I can pull them over my existing clothes even with my trail runners on, thanks to the deep lower leg zippers. They were super comfortable the whole time. They do run a bit large, though. I had to buy the XS Tall because the Small Tall was way too baggy on me. They kept me completely dry every single day, and they also dried out quickly. I 1000% recommend these pants; they are light, highly packable, and great for the backcountry.
